The Association LA DOMUS is organizing the VIII Pontino Short Film Festival.

The festival will take place in the city of Latina (Lazio, Italy) from the
24th to the 30th of June 2013. The last editions have been characterized from a big affluence of media, public (more than 15.000 spectators in all), and movies (2.913 subscriptions in all) national and international (57 nations of provenance).

The following genres are admitted:
– FICTION shorts
– ANIMATION shorts
– SOCIAL Documentaries

The following themes are admitted:
– FREE theme
– All of movies concerning AFRICA topics
– All of movies concerning economic and social CRISIS topics

The whole total prize is of € 4.500,00, to be assigned to the directors according to these categories:

– Best Italian Film, € 1500, assigned by technical panel to a short produced by an Italian producer
– International Prize, € 1200, assigned by technical panel to a short produced by a foreign producer
– Best Director Award, € 800, assigned by the technical panel
– Best Script Award, € 500, assigned by the technical panel
– Prize Lazio Youth, € 250, assigned by the technical panel to a 30 years old or – less director or production from Lazio
– Prize Short Africa, € 250, assigned by the technical panel to a film by African – Directors/Producer, and/or concerning Africa topics

– Best Female Director, assigned by the Association “Se Non Ora Quando”
– Best Cinematography, assigned by the photography Association Factory10
– Best Animation, assigned by the comics Association Tunuè
– Public, assigned by the audience
– Best Pontino Short Film, assigned by the audience
– Corto Press, assigned by the media panel to a Film of the Best Film

The registration of the film has to be done online within the 15 of JANUARY 2013 (compiling the form on ).
