Film TEEP is a co-production training programmeorganized by ARTVIVA with the support of theRomanian National Center of Cinematography, in collaboration with the European Film Festival organized by ICR Bucharest. The aim is to enable aninternational framework for development of fiction projects, setting up and building a professional network in the East European region, and to encourage audiovisual collaborations between both EU and non-EU member states.

Film TEEP will start with a workshop held in Bucharest from 8th to 13th of May 2013with follow-up tuition available online afterwards (APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 31, 2013)
The course will bring together 12 selected fiction projects in teams of writer/director and producer. The training will be held in English with a team of established international professionals.
The team of trainers: Christian Routh (Head of Studies), Patrice Vivancos (Production and Finance Tutor), Giovanni Robbiano (Script Tutor), Dr. Dirk Poppendieck (Legal Tutor).

The workshop sessions will involve individual tutorials, group tutorials, and plenary sessions, and are designed to be as collaborative as possible. The goal for each project will be to improve the creative content and nurture the international potential, so that a script can be developed which has the best possible chances of success in the marketplace.
During the event, the 12 selected teams will have the opportunity to meet and discuss their projects with award-winning Romanian filmmakers.

At the end of the program, the two projects displaying the greatest potential will go on to participation in Mannheim Meeting Place – the co-production market at IFF Mannheim Heidelberg or the When East Meets West at IFF Trieste.

The selected projects will be announced on 5th of April 2013. Projects will be selected based on the following criteria:

  • Quality and originality of the proposal
  • International co-production potential
  • Production potential and commercial viability
  • Track record of the applicants, and ability to collaborate effectively

The course fee is 100 euro/person for the selected projects. There is no application fee.

Film TEEP will offer free accommodation for foreign participants. Travel expenses must be covered individually.
