Lighthouse Studio is an interdisciplinary space for a small group of residents from the fields of digital culture and art, design, technology, science, film and the wider creative industries. The studio is intended to nurture the research, development and production of new work at the intersection of these different sectors, and to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange of knowledge, skills and ideas. Residents collaborate closely with the Lighthouse team and have the opportunity to feature in their wider programme, which includes talks, events, workshops, exhibitions and interventions. They are encouraged to share their work and interact with our regional, national and international network of collaborators from across the spectrum of digital culture.

They will be running three residency periods over the next twelve months. Each will last approximately three months, and will host four or more residents. Residents will be selected both for specifically funded studio projects, and through open calls issued at different points during the year. These guidelines are intended to give you the information you need to apply through our open call process.
