Now in its twelfth year, LSFF will take place over ten days from Friday 9th – Sunday 18th January 2015 across twenty five major London venues, combining over 300 independent shorts, live music events, training, parties, and art.
Renowned for its daring cross-arts programming, LSFF showcases the very best of the country’s raw talent. And this year, for the first time ever, LSFF is also accepting international submissions global talent.

And this year, London Short Film Festival (LSFF) are using a brand new submissions platform called flock, built by their partners Shooting People. flock is a bespoke submissions platform that has been developed to manage film festival submissions in an efficient, cost-effective way. Filmmakers can enter films, track how their submissions are doing and communicate with the festival team through the platform. flock is also available for other festivals to sign up to.
LSFF accepts all genres; from drama to documentary, from music videos to experimental and is one of the few festivals in the UK to showcase films up to 45 minutes in length. The only rules are that films must be made after August 2013 and be under 45 minutes in length.

Films under 5 minutes long, made for less than £500 can be submitted to LSFF for FREE.
For the first time, LSFF will also be accepting international submissions, in order to showcase global talent and to complement the core British programmes.
Over the years, LSFF has held some key partnerships with British Council, Sheffield Doc/Fest, Channel 4 and others to recognise strong filmmaking talent in the UK. Awards range from ‘Best UK Short Film’ to ‘Best Student Short’ with great cash prizes and opportunities up for grabs.
