The Eastweek project, founded in 2009 on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Trieste Film Festival, this year renews its efforts with the central European Schools and Academies of Cinema, with one important new addition. Eastweek is growing into an international screenwriting workshop dedicated to the development of film scripts.

The selected students will take part in five-day workshop, in which they will develop their ideas through group work, Q&A sessions, Masterclasses and case studies.

The trainers at the workshop will be Nicos Panayotopoulos and Pavel Jech, with the collaboration of Thanos Anastopoulos, under the co-ordination of Andrea Magnani.

It is a unique TALENT CAMPUS, in which the participants will have access to all of the initiatives at the Trieste Film Festival and the co-production meetings for When East Meets West.
