The 2015 catalogue featuring 46 Swiss short film productions is presented in a new form and includes for the first time four texts on short filmmaking in Switzerland. It presents a total of 11 animation films, 11 documentary films, 2 experimental films and 22 fiction films. The handpicked selection reflects the diversity of short films produced in Switzerland in 2014/2015.

In addition to the 46 short film productions, the short film catalogue features four background reports. In the first article, Zurich’s cultural journalist Florian Keller highlights work by the stupendous bricoleur and Swiss short filmmaker Peter Volkart. Furthermore, the film critic Pascal Gavillet from French-speaking Switzerland pays a visit to Nadasdy Film, the Swiss animation film studio crowned with success. In the third article, the German film scholar Thomas Tode has adapted his essay “Lob der Hybridisierung” (Kurzfilmmagazin SHORT report #06 ) to the Swiss short film scene. Finally, in the interview by Geneva’s radio journalist Philippe Congiusti, the film director Ursula Meier speaks about her passion for the short format. She was honoured with the Special Award Silver Bear for SISTER at the Berlinale in 2012. Her two latest short film productions are presented in the new short film catalogue.
