Interforum, the fringe program for professional visitors and film enthusiasts at the International Short Film Festival interfilm Berlin is now accepting entries for our international Script Pitch competition. The event will be held between 9-13th of November, at the Instituto Cervantes and the Grünen Salon der Volksbühne, in Berlin, Germany.
They are offering three awards:
BEST PITCH / €1000 cash from 25p *MEDIA GROUP and the opportunity to be presented on the pitch page of WOSH Issue, Cannes 2016
ESP Jury Award / a stipend to participate in the European Short Pitch 2016 by NISI MASA
Daazo Award / a one-on-one session of individual festival strategy consulting provided by daazo
They are expecting the short film projects until the 1st of September.

In addition to the Script Pitch competition, all participants are provided with a practical and stimulating workshop programme to accompany the competition. There will be both a workshop on script development to sharpen the participants’ creative skills with Nadja Dumouchel (La scénaristerie, Arte, FR) and Wim Vanacker (Head of Script Department, NISI MASA, BE) and a seminar on pitching with Gabriele Brunnenmeyer (Script Consulting, Kuratorium Junger Deutscher Film, Maia Workshops, DE) to evaluate the live performance of each contestant. The entire competition will we held in English.
A Meet & Greet for competitors and the audience will be held afterwards, to maximize the interlinking of creative and industry professionals in an open forum. As of now, all script writers and interested filmmakers are welcome to apply with their script. Eight contestants will be selected to participate in the Script Pitch competition.
