The 28th edition of International Short Film Festival Dresden will be held from 12th – 17th April, in 2016. They are accepting submissions until the 5th of December, so two weeks away from today. The innovative festival is focusing on finding the finest national and international short films, and also organising special events that supports the festival programme and creates opportunities for the filmmakers and industry to introduce each other, through industry talks and meetups.

They are accepting short films:

– that are up to 30 minutes long

– in the National and International Competition, the short films and animated short films have to be made after December 2013

– in the special programmes – Panorama, Kids, Youth, Experiments and Regional Focus – documentaries and experimental films are accepted as well

– only on 35 mm or DCP copies for the
