The New Arrivals – Go Short Campus is offering an intensive and complete campus program for the freshly graduated filmmakers, to help them get started in the business, during Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen, which is highly growing film festival with over 300 short films and 19000 visitors. They are expecting the submissions until the 11th of January!

On the campus they are covering most of the basic subjects, that could come up during making of a film, from beginning, until the very end. The main topics are: Financing, Distribution, Marketing, (Co)Production, Presentation & Networking, and New digital technologies. Film professionals will help the young graduated talents in these important areas of filmmaking during master classes, lectures, workshops and panel discussions.

The masterclasses will be held by acclaimed short and feature film director Adrian Sitaru and European Film Award nominated short film director Konstantina Kotzamani – we wrote about their presence at the campus here.

The topic of the workshops will be:

  • Workshops on distribution: platforms and do-it-yourself
  • Workshop on positing and marketing of your film
  • Workshop on pitching your film idea to an audience or market
  • Panel talk with festival programmers
  • Round table sessions with producers

It’s a great chance to meet influential people from the film industry, who can help you or inspire you and start your European network.
