The Hungarian director Bence Fliegauf have been a regular at the Berlinale International Film Festival. He debuted there with his first feature film Rengeteg in 2003, and he has been selected there with almost all of his feature films. Today the festival announced the Forum programme, which included the director’s seventh feature film called Lily Lane. At Daazo we are trying to keep track with the short films of famous Hungarian directors, so here are three of Fliegauf’s earlier shorts.

 Hypnos / 2002

The Line / 2004

What happens to children whose parents forget to pick them up from school?

Trance/2005

„Those who look closely at the mountains can see them undulate like the waves of the sea.” – The Vedic Scriptures An unusual experiment in attempting to document the ecstasy of an age.
