The winners of the 4th Friss Hús  International Short Film Festival were announced last Sunday in Budapest, at the. We are extremely happy with the turnout, almost all the screenings were sold out – both international and Hungarian ones. The festival was held from the 30th March until the 3rd of April, here are the list of winners:

Best Hungarian Short Film – Mr. Miller (Szabó úr) by Áron Ferenczik

Szabó úr

“The film works in several levels: it brings a strong personal and soceital and political message also.” – said the Jury

“It’s simply wonderful” – said the Jury

Best International Short Film – Rate me by Fyzal Boulifa

“The jury was amazed by the raw and experimental radicality of the film’a language. The logic of the new media works with the visuals of the film, it causes a shockng visual experience, and also tells a lot about the communication through the internet”

We also gave special mention to three short films:

En passant by Kata Oláh

enpassant

White Wolf by Fanni Szilágyi

Fehér farkas

Beyond by Milán Kopasz
