What is your film about? What are the main topics raised by the story?

The film follows a young man who collects information for the police, sound recordings and photographs, each job different in every way. He lives alone, slightly disconnected from the outside world, this is his work, keeping what he does secret as most is very sensitive material. This sensitivity is shown in this film as he is asked to record and identify for the Police the goings on between a government Minister and a work colleague. As he digs deeper and get closer to obtain the information he needs to pas on, he inadvertently gets spotted by those he tails, leading to a confrontation he cant escape.

The main topics raised in this film one of how people can become isolated from he outside world, in this case due to his job, disconnected form everyday life and not engaging anymore with people on almost every level.

Who is the target audience of your film?

The target audience for this film is really teenage upwards, any younger persons may not understand the nuances going on.

Why did you decided to submit your short film to the Short Film Corner?

We submitted the film to the short corner as firstly we have always been great fans of Cannes short corner and have been going for years watching friends films being shown there. The vibe and encouragement you get as a film maker is amazing, coupled with the networking and future collaborations it was a must for us to achieve.

What was the budget for your film, was it hard to make/what were the challenges making it?

We had zero budget for this film which was extremely difficult to make for this reason, but with great collaboration we got it done in the end with great results. There were a few challenges along the way like making it rain when there was sunshine and using locations that required local authority permission. These hurdles we their but made it worth it in the end.
