Call for Entries: GRAND OFF World Off Film Awards
Wednesday, May 26th, 2010GRAND OFF World Off Film Awards invited filmmakers to submit their films for its 4th edition which will run 26-28 November at Poland.
The call for entries for GRAND OFF is open to independent filmmakers, with up to 45 minutes of total running time.
Each year, world independent films receive nominations in 9 categories: directing, scriptwriting, editing, cinematography, best actor, best actress, fiction, documentary and animation.
During the Awards Ceremony the authors of the awarded films receive the honorable Grand Off statuettes and diplomas.

Call for Entries: Thess Short Film Festival
Monday, May 3rd, 2010Submissions for this year’s festival are now open for the 4th Thessaloniki International Short Film Festival. By popular demand, the festival will again take place over two weekends, Sept.25,26 and October 1,2 & 3rd.
In its short 3-year history, THESS INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL (TISFF) has created a worldwide reputation for high quality cinema, screening and promoting talented directors from all over the world and the most reputable film schools and academies.
We are committed to maintain the same high standards for the 2010 festival and thus offer again to thousands of cinephiles a very special and important cinematic experience.
The festival will continue to focus on fiction films but we shall definitely include exceptional animation and documentary films.
